FAQ
What file formats do you deliver?
I deliver STEP, IGES, STL for 3D printing, and PDF technical drawings. Other formats available on request.
Can you work from a hand sketch or photo?
Yes. I can create 3D models from sketches, photos, physical samples, or written descriptions. Clear references with dimensions or scale objects help ensure accuracy.
Do you provide technical drawings with dimensions?
Yes. Standard and Premium packages include detailed technical drawings with dimensions and annotations. Basic package includes a simplified drawing.
What is included in the Basic package?
The Basic package covers 1 simple part, delivered in STEP + STL formats with 2 revision rounds. For assemblies, complex parts, or detailed drawings, please select Standard or Premium.
Can you design assemblies with moving parts?
Yes. I create multi-part assemblies with proper mates, motion studies, and interference detection in SolidWorks. This is included in Standard and Premium packages.
Do you offer 3D printing file optimization?
Yes. I can prepare and optimize STL files for FDM 3D printing, including orientation recommendations and support structure analysis. Select this as a Gig Extra or message me.
What information do you need to get started?
Please provide: (1) description or sketch of the part, (2) critical dimensions or overall size, (3) intended manufacturing method (CNC, 3D print, etc.), and (4) required file formats. The more details, the faster and more accurate the result.
