Typically, we arrange a live demo (or clients send us a screen recording of their SaaS platform), and then get access to a test account/sandbox environment for us to become familiar with each feature and grab screenshots and animated GIFs.

We find it best to write the content in your chosen docs site (such as Confluence, Document360, HubSpot, Zendesk). Or we can supply the content in Google Docs which allows collaboration with product owners and SMEs and receive answers to queries directly in the document.
