FAQ
What type of file should I submit?
Microsoft Word documents (.doc or .docx) are our preferred file type since we can use the Tracked Changes feature to highlight edits, but any file format that allows us to directly manipulate the text should work. PDFs will not be edited.
Do you accept custom orders?
Yes! Feel free to message us so we can set up the right order for your project.
Do you correct grammar and punctuation?
Only the Basic package (copyediting) includes corrections to grammar and punctuation. These corrections should come only after a manuscript is well organized and flows well since other types of editing (e.g., line editing) require extensive changes to the text that could introduce new errors.
What are the differences between your gig packages?
The Basic package includes corrections to grammar, spelling, and punctuation. The Standard package includes line edits to improve concision, style, and clarity. The Premium service includes in-text comments and deep line edits to ensure consistency in tone, voice, and logical flow.
I am not sure which service to pick. How do I know which package is right for me?
No worries! Feel free to message us about your project. Even better, send a sample, and we'll help you find the right package for your project.
Do you include revisions with your orders?
Nope, because people rarely need them! If you would like revisions included, we'd be happy to discuss that with you before placing an order.
Do you provide Tracked Changes?
Yes! Upon gig completion you will receive a Microsoft Word document with Tracked Changes and a clean document with all edits accepted.

$235 seemed a little much for about 3 pages. But, I appreciate that he read the chapters and gave an assessment that was on point, offering advice that made sense. He confused the main characters at times, referring to one when he meant the other, but I knew what he meant. I have no complaints.
