Do I need my own OpenAI account?
Yes. You create the account and API key, and the key stays yours - I never hold it. That means you see your usage, control your spending limits, and keep everything if we stop working together. I'll walk you through the setup if you haven't done it before.
How much will the AI cost me per month?
It depends on traffic and how the feature is built. A badly built integration calls the model on every page load and gets expensive fast. I cache and pre-generate wherever possible, so cost stays flat instead of growing with visitors. I'll give you an estimate before you order.
Will this slow down my site?
No. Generated content is cached and served like any other content, so visitors don't wait on the model. Anything that has to run live is handled asynchronously, so the page loads first and the AI part fills in after.
Which languages can it generate?
Any language OpenAI supports. I've shipped a product generating content in 9 languages including RTL, and I write per-language rules so gendered languages like German, French and Spanish come out correct rather than mechanically translated.
What access do you need?
Admin access to a staging site, or your live site if there's no staging. I build and test on staging first, then deploy. If you prefer, I can work on a copy and hand you the files to install yourself.
