I build document automation pipelines in Make.com/n8n that extract the data you need, run your business logic on it, and deliver clean output to wherever you actually work: Google Sheets, Airtable, a database, Slack, wherever.
The project that led to this gig: a client was processing customs declarations manually across multiple document formats. I built a Make scenario using OpenAI for extraction, added tax and weight distribution calculations inside the flow, and connected it to their existing database. What took hours now runs on its own.

Do I need to pay for Make.com or OpenAI separately?
Yes. Make.com, OpenAI API, and any other tools used in the pipeline run under your own accounts. My price covers building and delivering the automation, not the ongoing service costs. I'll tell you upfront what subscriptions the solution requires before we start.
How much will Make.com / OpenAI cost me per month?
Depends on your volume. For most small-to-mid businesses processing a few hundred documents a month, Make's basic plan ($9-16/month) is enough. OpenAI costs are typically a few cents per document. I can give a rough estimate once I know your expected volume.
What do you need from me to get started?
A sample document (or a few) and a clear description of what data you need extracted and where it should go. That's usually enough to scope the work.
What if my document format changes later?
Minor changes are usually quick to fix. If the format changes significantly, that's a small adjustment task - I'm available for ongoing support after delivery.
