What’s the difference between sound design and audio editing?
Audio editing cleans up a recording. Sound design builds a world around it. I create and layer custom SFX, foley, ambient environments, music beds, and transitions that pull your listener into the story — not just through it.
Do you use AI or stock libraries for your sounds?
I use a combination of custom sounds designed in Pro Tools and curated professional SFX libraries. Nothing is AI-generated. Every sound is hand-selected or hand-built to fit your specific project.
Can you work with audio I’ve already recorded?
Yes. Send me your finished or near-finished recordings and I’ll design the sonic layer around them. If your raw audio needs cleanup, noise reduction, or mastering, those are available as add-ons.
What about mouth click removal, noise reduction, and ACX mastering?
Yes, those are all available as add-ons. The core gig is focused on sound design — the technical finishing is there when you need it.
What format do you deliver in?
WAV as standard. MP3 included on request. Stems (separated SFX, music, and VO tracks) are available as an add-on if your team needs to remix or adjust later.
I already have music I want to use. Can you mix it in?
Yes — music bed mixing is included in The Atmosphere and The Score packages. Send me your tracks and I’ll blend them with the VO and SFX so everything sits together.
How long does delivery take?
The Layer delivers in 3 days, The Atmosphere in 5, and The Score in 7. Express 48-hour delivery is available for $150 — message me first to confirm availability for your project length.
What if my project is longer than 6 hours?
Message me before ordering. For full-length audiobooks or ongoing podcast series, I’ll build a custom quote.
How many revisions do I get?
The Layer includes 1, The Atmosphere includes 2, The Score includes 3. A revision means adjustments to SFX placement, music balance, levels, or timing — not a complete redesign of the project scope.
Can you also narrate the audiobook or record the voiceover?
Yes — I’m a SAG-AFTRA voice actor with a separate narration gig. If you need both voice and sound design, message me for a bundled rate. One voice, one studio, one cohesive product.
