FAQ
What genres do you cover as a beta reader?
I cover romance, fantasy, fiction, nonfiction, YA, horror, and more. Whether you need a romance beta reader, fantasy beta reader, or YA beta reader, I have you covered across all genres (except eroticas).
What is the difference between alpha reading and beta reading?
Alpha reading happens during early drafts while beta reading covers completed or near-complete manuscripts. Both services provide honest manuscript feedback and critique to strengthen your story before publishing.
How will I receive my manuscript feedback?
You will receive a detailed feedback document covering plot, pacing, character arcs, dialogue, and romance chemistry. All beta read notes are clear, honest, and actionable so you know exactly what to fix.
How long does the beta reading process take?
Turnaround depends on your manuscript word count. I prioritize fast, thorough delivery without sacrificing feedback quality. Message me with your word count and I will give you a clear timeline before you order.
Do you beta read nonfiction manuscripts too?
Yes. Beyond romance beta reading and fantasy beta reader services, I also critique nonfiction manuscripts. If your content needs honest reader feedback and a structured critique, I can help regardless of genre.
Can I contact you before placing an order?
Absolutely. I encourage every author to message me first so we can discuss your manuscript, genre, and specific critique needs. This ensures you get the most useful beta reader or alpha reader service for your story.
What is Sample Line Edit?
It's a gig extra that involves me providing a sample edit to demonstrate my beta reading feedback on a particular part of your manuscript.
