I edit rhyming picture books, poems and children's stories so they read smoothly, scan well and feel natural.
I'm a native English speaker, writer, teacher and professional editor with 1000+ positive reviews on Fiverr. I'm also a member of the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading (CIEP). Rhyming texts are one of my specialisms,s and small changes can make a big difference to rhythm and readability.

Why should I choose you?
I am an ex-teacher with lots of experience in children's books. I am approachable and am looking forward to working on your children's writing with you. I do my best to keep you informed and communicate well. I have also been proofreading and editing on Fiverr since 2014 and have great reviews.
Can you edit both American and British English?
Yes. I am aware of the intricacies of British and American English and can help with either. Just make sure to tell me which you would like when you order.
I'm struggling to find words that rhyme for my poem . Can you help?
This is what I do best. I can give you suggests for good rhyming words, or reword your lines slightly so they flow better.
Can I submit a PDF?
Yes, you can submit a PDF and I can transfer the text to Microsoft Word. Please let me know that you would like me to do this. I do my editing work in Word as I can show you edits and comments as tracked changes.
Can you work with text in Pages?
Yes I can work in Pages but will not be able to provide as much detail about my edits as I would when working in Microsoft Word.
My text rhymes but it is non-fiction. Can you help me?

Will I be able to see your edits?
Yes. If you give me the document in Microsoft Word, I will use the Track Changes feature, which allows you to see my edits and accept or decline each one if you so wish. I will provide you with a draft showing all edits and comments, plus a final draft with all edits and comments accepted for you.
