About this gig

Building fast with Lovable, Bolt, or Replit? Here's what most people don't check before going live: whether your Supabase database is actually locked down.

Row Level Security (RLS) stops anyone with your public anon key from reading or editing your database. AI coding tools often skip it or set it up wrong, meaning user data and sometimes payment details can be exposed without you knowing.

I audit your Supabase setup and tell you exactly what's exposed and how to fix it. I can also implement the fixes directly: proper RLS policies, secured tables, and SECURITY DEFINER functions for data that shouldn't be editable from the client.

I built this skill hands-on while developing my own production app, a React Native fitness app with a full Supabase backend, where I had to ensure scores and rankings couldn't be manipulated by users. Not from a tutorial, from shipping something real.

What you get:

- A clear list of every RLS gap and exposed table

- Specific fixes, not vague advice

- Optional hands-on implementation

- Fast turnaround, clear communication

If you're unsure whether your app has this problem, that's usually a sign it does.

I build and secure Supabase backends, mainly fixing the Row Level Security gaps that AI coding tools like Lovable, Bolt, and Cursor tend to leave open. I'm a Computer Science student at LUMS specializing in Cybersecurity, and I built GymELO, a fitness app with a production Supabase backend where I set up RLS policies and made sure sensitive data like user scores and rankings can only be written server-side. I also work with React Native, PostgreSQL, and general database design. Outside of security work I'm interested in AI and fintech, and I've co-founded Retez.
