I come back to Fiverr and see AI "writers" and AI "editors" ... no thanks. Give me your manuscript, your child-in-written-form, and I will do everything within my earthly capabilities to help you nurture it to maturity.
No project is too big or small, I'll read them all. I specialize in sci-fi/fantasy (and their offshoots) but I have editing and beta reading experience in most genres (including non-fiction).
Do you want reader impressions and honest feedback? Beta-read here we come! Do you need help punching up your prose, finding inconsistencies, and correcting errors? Line edits to the rescue! Is your manuscript finished, but you need a final pair of eyes to find the pokey tacks that might be lurking in the lush carpet? Proofread, go, go, go!
Please message me prior to ordering! I need to do a sample edit of your work before starting a project, this ensures that we are a good match. I like to do custom orders tailored to your word count, the gigs I set up above are just the base price per 10k words.

FAQ
What kind of experience do you have?
I have worked as a freelance editor since 2020. I've been on and off Fiverr in that time but mostly I've gathered my own repeat clients that keep me busy. I have worked with writers all over the world. I've done ghostwriting, beta reading, line editing, proofreading, and publishing consult calls.
What will you send me when the work is complete?
For beta reading, a Reader Report. For line editing or proofreading: your manuscript with all of the marked-up corrections and accompanying comments (via Track Changes in Word or GoogleDoc Suggestions).
Should I give you a sample of my writing first?
Yes! I will sample edit a slice of your writing right away to make sure we're a good match to work together.
What is included in the Beta Reader Report?
I will provide feedback on big ticket items: - What worked well in your story? What fell flat? - Analysis of character, plot, dialogue, voice, tone, POV - What is the "intention" of the story? (This is important because the reader could see a different theme/insight than what you intended)
What does your line-level editing include?
- Correcting grammar/spelling/punctuation - Noting repetition of words/phrases - Finding inconsistencies in tense or POV as well as “in-world” mistakes (proper nouns, chronology, etc) - Major format or paragraph errors - Leveling up your word choices and sentences to improve reader clarity
Will you rewrite a ton of my sentences for me?
A ton? No, I prefer to give strong suggestions and possible ways to reword phrases and add clarity to your writing without cramping your style. I want to improve your writing but not wreak havoc on your authorial voice.
If I wanted you to proofread a physical copy, epub, pdf, etc. would you be able to do that?
Yes! Sometimes proofreading is done before querying agents but if you are self-publishing and you want me to run the final, final pass on your book then I can probably read it in any format you have. Note: sending me a proof copy or anything physical will naturally add to the project timeline.
Can you help me with my career goals? I'm not sure what to do next.
