What do I need to provide to get started?
Your data files or access to your data source, a brief on what decisions you need to make, and 30 minutes for a free scoping call. That is all I need to get started.
Do I need a Power BI Pro license?
Power BI Desktop is free to build and view on your own machine. If you want to share reports with your team online, you will need a Power BI Pro license at $10 per user per month. I will advise you on exactly what you need during our scoping call.
Do you offer ongoing support after delivery?
Yes. I offer monthly retainer packages for clients who want ongoing updates, new pages added, or additional data sources connected over time. Message me for details.
Will my data be kept confidential?
es. I work under strict confidentiality and can sign an NDA if required. Your data is used solely to build your reporting system and is never shared or retained after project completion.
Are you willing to sign an NDA before we get started
Yes I don't mind signing an NDA. However, I do take data privacy very seriously and would not share your data or work with any 3rd party.
Which package is right for me?
Starter is ideal if you have one data source and need a focused single-page view. Growth suits businesses with multiple data sources needing full operational visibility. Scale is for complex setups requiring advanced calculations, multiple integrations and a full team rollout.
What data sources can you connect to?
Excel, Google Sheets, SQL databases, REST APIs, CRMs, accounting systems like QuickBooks and Xero, and most cloud platforms. If you are unsure whether your source is supported, message me before ordering.
How many revisions are included?
Every package includes revisions to ensure the final result matches your requirements exactly. We review together before final delivery and I refine until it is right.
Can I update the dashboard myself after delivery?
Yes. Power BI Desktop is designed for non-developers to make edits. I can also include a recorded walkthrough with every delivery so you and your team know exactly how to use and maintain the system.
What if none of the packages match what I need?
No problem. Message me with a description of your project and I will put together a custom order tailored to your exact requirements and budget. Most projects outside the standard packages are accommodated this way.
