Microsoft ends support for .NET 8 and .NET 9 on November 10, 2026. After that, those versions get no more security fixes. I upgrade ASP.NET Core and .NET apps to .NET 10, the current long-term support release (supported through November 2028), without breaking what already works.
What I do:
Review your solution and list every change the upgrade needs
Update the target framework and NuGet packages
Fix build errors and breaking changes
Run your tests and check the main flows still work
Deliver a pull request with a short note on what changed and why

Which versions can you upgrade from?
.NET 6, 7, 8 and 9 apps, including ASP.NET Core APIs, MVC and Razor Pages. .NET Framework 4.x needs a bigger migration, so message me for a separate quote.
Do you need access to my live server?
No. I work on a copy of your code in a Git repository and deliver a pull request. You decide when to deploy.
What if a package doesn't support .NET 10 yet?
I flag it in the plan and suggest a supported replacement or a workaround before changing anything.
How do I know the upgrade works?
I build the solution, run your tests and check the main flows. If something I changed breaks during the revision period, I fix it.
