Q: What information do I need to provide?
A: A short description of your business, any past financial records you have, and your best guesses for sales, costs, and funding. If you're a startup with no history, that's fine. I'll help you build realistic assumptions using industry benchmarks.
Q: Can you fix or update a model I already have?
A: Yes. Send me your file before ordering and I'll review it and send a custom quote. I often find broken formulas, hardcoded numbers, and assumptions that don't match across tabs.
Q: Will I be able to understand and update the model myself?
A: Yes. Every model uses clear formulas, labeled assumptions, and color coded input cells. Premium orders also include a plain English guide explaining every tab, so you can update numbers without calling me.
Q: How many revisions are included?
A: Basic includes 1 revision, Standard includes 2, and Premium includes 3. Revisions cover changes to assumptions or layout. A new scope, such as adding a business line, would be a custom quote.
Q: Will my financial information stay confidential?
A: Yes. I never share client files or numbers, and I'm happy to sign a nondisclosure agreement before you send anything sensitive.
Q: Are you a CPA? Do you prepare taxes?
No. I'm a financial planning and analysis consultant focused on models, budgets, and forecasts. I don't prepare taxes or audited statements, but my models are built to be easy for your CPA or lender to review.
Q: Will a lender or investor accept this model?
A: The models follow the formats lenders expect, including debt coverage and sources and uses of funds.
