Please send always sound reference tracks, one at least. This makes it easier to understand where you want to take the song. For me, a mix isn't ready until the artist gives their approval and is fully convinced that it's what they heard in their head. That's why communication is essential, and I appreciate any comments prior to mixing so that we can work towards the same goal.
