Do you have access to a JD Edwards environment, or do I need to provide one?
You'll need to provide access to your JDE environment (or a sandbox/test instance) — either remote access or credentials to a non-production environment. I don't have a standalone JDE license to work independently.
What JDE version do you work with?
I primarily work with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne. Message me your specific version/release before ordering so I can confirm compatibility.
Can you work with our existing custom objects, or only build from scratch?
Both — I can build new reports/applications from scratch or extend/fix existing custom objects. Just share what you're working with.
How do you handle confidentiality? This is sensitive business data.
I'm happy to sign an NDA before starting if needed — just send it over. I only access what's necessary for the project scope.
What do you need from me to get started?
See the requirements section — generally: environment access, a clear description of the report/application logic, and any related business function (BSFN) details if applicable.
What if the scope changes mid-project?
