What is a RAG system, simply put?
It is an AI system that reads your documents (PDFs, docs, handbooks) and answers questions about them in natural language - instead of someone manually searching through files, they just ask and get an accurate, sourced answer instantly.
What do you need from me to get started?
Your source documents (PDFs, Google Docs, or text files), a description of who will use it and how, and your Supabase + n8n account access. I'll send a full checklist after you order.
Can different departments or teams have different access levels?
Yes. This is one of my specialties. I can build department or role-based access so sensitive information (like HR or financial data) stays restricted to the right people only.
Do I need a paid Supabase or vector database account?
Supabase has a generous free tier that works for most use cases. I will advise you during scoping if your data volume requires a paid plan.
What counts as a revision?
Fixing inaccurate retrieval or behaviour that doesn't match agreed requirements. Adding new document sources, new access roles, or new integrations after the original scope is a new order or paid add-on.
