Do I need my old device?
It helps a lot — with the old device we can transfer everything directly. If you don't have it, we can still restore from your iCloud backup.
Will I lose anything during the transfer?
No. We verify the transfer is complete before signing out of or wiping anything on the old device.
Do you need my Apple ID password?
You'll enter it yourself during our screen-share session. I never ask for passwords in chat.
