I will connect shopify to quickbooks online and reconcile payout settlements
About this Gig
Are your Shopify payouts and bank deposits not matching your QuickBooks ledger?
When Shopify deposits net funds into your bank account, card processing fees, refunds, shipping labels, and sales taxes are already deducted. Without proper clearing account mapping, your gross sales are underreported, merchant expenses are missing, and your books fall out of balance.
I connect your Shopify store directly to QuickBooks Online, map your backend general ledger correctly, and reconcile your payouts to the penny.
What This Gig Covers:
- Official Integration Setup: Installing and configuring the QuickBooks-Shopify integration.
- Chart of Accounts (COA) Mapping: Proper routing for Gross Sales, Merchant Processing Fees, Refunds, and Sales Tax Payable liabilities.
- Payout Clearing Account Configuration: Setting up a dedicated settlement workflow so bank deposits match zero-balance clearing runs.
- Historical Payout Reconciliation: Balancing past batch settlements and transaction fees against bank records.
- CPA-Ready Accuracy: Clean, balanced reporting with no duplicate income or missing fee deductions.

FAQ
How do I grant you access to my accounts?
You will invite me as an external "Accountant User" directly inside QuickBooks Online (Settings > Manage Users > Accountants), and as a "Collaborator" in your Shopify Partner/Store admin. You never need to share passwords.
What files or documents do I need to provide?
None! Once collaborator/accountant access is active, everything syncs directly through the cloud. If manual verification is required, only standard PDF/CSV bank statement exports are accepted. Never send compressed ZIP or executable files.
Do you file my annual business or sales taxes?
No. I focus on financial operations, backend integrations, and payout reconciliation. My work ensures your records are balanced, verified, and completely CPA-ready for your tax preparer.
