FAQ
Do you make the mod for me?
No. This gig is for teaching and mentoring. We build the mod together so you learn how to do it yourself. I have another gig for making mods for you!
Do I need to know Java?
Basic Java is recommended for Standard and Premium. I can explain fundamentals in Basic, but this is not a full Java course.
What Minecraft versions do you support?
I support modern Minecraft versions using Forge, Fabric, and NeoForge (1.20.1+), but I can do lessons on previous versions (i.e., < 1.19) on request / custom order.
Are your lessons live or recorded?
Lessons are live (Discord). I can provide a recording if requested.
Can you help with my existing mod?
Yes, Standard and Premium include code review and debugging.
Will my mod be professional quality?
I teach real-world practices, but your final quality depends on your learning and effort.
What happens if I miss a session?
You must reschedule at least 24 hours in advance. Missed sessions without notice are not refundable. I will wait for 5 minutes after the start time, and the lesson will be cancelled if you arrive after this.
Can you teach me any mod idea that I have?
Most ideas are possible, but some may be too large for a single session.
Do you offer refunds?
Refunds are only available if I fail to deliver the lesson. Not for lack of interest or difficulty.
Is this suitable for kids?
Yes, but they should have basic computer skills and patience to follow technical instructions, and a parent/guardian should be present at all times in the lesson. No recordings will be available in this scenario.
