I will audit your online shop for eaa and wcag accessibility issues
EAA and WCAG accessibility audits for online shops
About this Gig
Since June 2025 the European Accessibility Act (EAA) requires online shops that sell to EU consumers to be accessible: in practice, WCAG 2.1 level AA. Complaints and authority inquiries have started.
I test your shop's key pages (home, collections, products, cart, account, contact) at desktop and phone screen sizes with axe-core, the industry-standard accessibility engine, and send you a clear PDF report:
- Score and grade, every issue ranked by severity
- Who each issue affects and how to fix it, with steps for Shopify and WooCommerce
- The exact elements and code that fail
- Whether you have the accessibility statement the EAA requires
- A draft accessibility statement in your customers' language: English, German, French, Dutch, Spanish, Italian, Swedish or Finnish
- A checklist for what only a person can test (keyboard, screen reader)
Delivered within 2 days. No store login needed: I only test public pages.
Note: automated testing finds many problems but not all, and no audit can guarantee legal compliance. This is a technical audit, not legal advice.

FAQ
Does the EAA apply to my shop?
If you sell to consumers in the EU, probably yes, also from outside the EU. Microenterprises (fewer than 10 employees AND at most EUR 2 million turnover) are exempt from the service requirements. The report explains this.
Will this make my shop compliant?
It tells you what to fix, in priority order, and how. After you fix things, a re-check shows what is left. No audit can guarantee compliance and automated tests cannot catch everything, so the report includes the manual checks to do yourself.
Do you need access to my store?
No. I only test the public pages, like a visitor would. No passwords or admin access needed.
Which platforms do you support?
Any website: Shopify, WooCommerce, Shopware, Magento, Wix, Squarespace and custom shops. The fix instructions are most detailed for Shopify and WooCommerce.
