I will read, annotate, and edit your manuscript to publishing standards. I will give your manuscript the workshopping (and love) it needs to be publishing-ready.
As a creative writing student, I have experience providing helpful feedback on short, literary fiction. I know how important it is to highlight both the writer's strengths and weaknesses in order to help them improve.
As a novelist, I know how to identify what a novel needs at every stage of the writing process.

I love all genres, but I'm especially familiar with literary, young adult, fantasy, romance, fairytales, and speculative fiction.
I will NOT use ANY AI tools to edit your work or generate my feedback.

Do you use generative AI or other AI tools to edit stories?
Nope! All editing is done by hand.
What is line editing?
Line editing looks at grammar, spelling, sentence structure, flow, paragraphing, and continuity. I line edit using Microsoft Word's "track changes" functionality.
What is developmental / structural editing?
Developmental / structural editing has to do with overarching issues, such as prose, tense, storytelling, characters, and story structure. I provide structural edits using comments.
What is a critique letter? Is it really worth the price?
Critique letters are the core of the college writing workshop. I'll go into detail on any issues I found in the text, provide examples, and explain how these issues can be resolved. I'll also provide any advice you ask for regarding publication, formatting, and the industry.
Can I get my story edited faster than a week? Can you just line edit my story? Can you take another look at a story you've already edited?
