I will design manufacturable mold and product parts in solidworks

About this gig
I'm Saad, a mould design engineer and CNC machinist with 16 years of hands-on experience turning ideas into manufacturable parts.
Unlike designers who only know CAD, I understand tooling, draft angles, wall thickness, ejection, and cooling because I've built the moulds myself. That means fewer costly redesigns after your part goes to manufacturing.
I also run FEA and CFD simulations in SolidWorks, so your design is validated before it hits the machine shop.
This service is for manufacturable, production-ready CAD design not artistic or marketing renders.
What I deliver:
- Manufacturable 3D CAD models (part & assembly)
- DFM review and correction
- Technical drawings with tolerances
- Injection mould-ready part design
- Draft angle & wall thickness analysis
- FEA/CFD simulation (on request)
Software: SolidWorks, PTC Creo, AutoCAD
File formats: STEP, SLDPRT, PDF, DWG
Send me your idea, sketch, or existing model I'll turn it into a part that's ready for real-world production.
Message me before ordering to confirm scope and the right package.

FAQ
Do you provide 3D printing files or manufacturing-ready CAD only?
I provide manufacturing-ready CAD (STEP, SLDPRT) suitable for injection molding, CNC machining, and 3D printing. Let me know your intended production method so I can optimize the design accordingly.
Can you work from a sketch or rough idea, or do I need a finished concept?
Yes, I can work from a hand sketch, reference image, or even a written description. I'll ask clarifying questions to nail down dimensions and function before starting.
Do you review existing designs for manufacturability (DFM)?
Yes. If you already have a CAD file, I can review it for draft angles, wall thickness, ejection issues, and other DFM concerns, and provide corrections.
What software do you use, and can you convert between formats?
I work in SolidWorks, PTC Creo, and AutoCAD. I can export to STEP, IGES, SLDPRT, PDF, and DWG depending on what your manufacturer needs.
Do you offer FEA or CFD simulation?
Yes, structural FEA and flow/cooling CFD simulation are available on the Premium package or as an add-on. Useful if you need to validate strength or cooling performance before tooling.
How many revisions are included?
Basic includes the delivered files with minor adjustments; Standard includes 2 revisions; Premium includes 3 revisions. Major scope changes beyond the original brief may need a new order or extension.
What information do you need from me to get started?
Ideally: rough dimensions or reference part, intended manufacturing method (injection mold, CNC, 3D print), material preference if known, and any functional constraints (load, fit, assembly)
Do you sign NDAs?
Yes, happy to sign an NDA before reviewing any confidential designs — just send it over before we start
