Can I host the MCP Server in the cloud (AWS/VPS)?
Yes, standard MCP servers run locally on your machine. To run them remotely (e.g., on a server so your whole team can use it), I need to implement SSE (Server-Sent Events) transport, which is more complex to set up.
Is my data secure? Does the AI train on it?
Security is part of the protocol. The MCP server only runs locally or through your secure connection. You control exactly what "Resources" the AI can see. I also implement permission safeguards so the AI cannot execute harmful commands.
What programming languages do you use to build this?
I typically use TypeScript (Node.js) or Python, as these have the best SDK support from Anthropic right now. If you have a specific preference for your existing stack, just let me know.
Can you connect to a custom internal API?
