You've been living inside your manuscript for so long you can't always tell what's on the page from what's still in your head. That's what a developmental edit is for.
I look at the big picture: plot, structure, pacing, characters, dialogue, theme, and how it all holds together. I show you what's working and what isn't, so you know what to protect during revision. Something I love doing is pulling examples from your manuscript where something lands, putting them next to where it doesn't yet, and explaining why, so you can see the difference in your own writing.
I'm really good at spotting patterns, tics and templates you might have slipped into, and my background in acting and screenwriting means I care a lot about character psychology and dialogue. I specialise in speculative fiction (fantasy, sci-fi, romantasy), but I also enjoy romance, thrillers, and cosy mysteries.
Your vision is important to me, and I'll do anything I can to help your story become its best version.

Do you offer editing services in English & German?
Yes, I'm fluent in both English and German and edit in both languages.
Do you offer payment plans?
This is a bit tricky on Fiverr, but I totally understand that a developmental edit is a big investment. While payment plans are not available on Fiverr, we could work with milestones, for example. If this is something you'd be interested in, please send me a message.
You mentioned a summer sale - how do I get the discount?
The prices shown are already the discounted summer sale prices, so you don't need to do anything. The discount is only valid for the standard and premium packages, not the sample edit.
Do you use AI in your work?
No. I actually enjoy reading, writing and the whole editing process.
