I will design precise 2d dxf files for laser cutting and cnc

About this gig
- I am a Mechanical Engineer (TIET Patiala) with a focus on DFM (Design for Manufacturing).
- I specialize in creating clean, closed-loop 2D geometry optimized for CNC, Laser, Plasma, and Waterjet cutting.
Just send your PDF, hand-sketched image, or part dimensions.
I will provide you with the following:
- Precision DXF/DWG files (no overlapping lines, no gaps, ready for CAM);
- Scaled PDF reference with key dimensions for machine setup;
- Engineering review of part geometry for structural feasibility;
- Fast turnaround to keep your production on schedule.
I DO NOT provide 3D modeling or material nesting in this specific Gig.

FAQ
Will these files work with my specific machine?
Yes. I provide industry-standard .DXF and .DWG files. These are compatible with almost all CAM software (like LightBurn, SheetCAM, or Fusion 360) used for Laser, Plasma, Waterjet, and CNC Router machines.
Can you create a precise file from just a photo?
Yes! If you provide a photo with at least one reference dimension (or a ruler in the frame), I can accurately scale the geometry. As a Mechanical Engineer, I ensure the proportions are mathematically consistent with your real-world part.
What do you mean by "Clean, Closed-Loop" geometry?
Most "broken" files have overlapping lines or tiny gaps that cause the machine to stutter or fail. I manually audit the geometry to ensure every path is a single, continuous loop. This saves you material and prevents machine errors.
Do you account for "Kerf" (cut width) or tolerances?
I typically provide 1:1 scale geometry. However, if you provide your specific material thickness and machine kerf, I can adjust the offsets to ensure your parts fit together perfectly right off the machine.
