Do I need a roof measurement report?
No, but it helps. I can build the roof sketch from EagleView, Hover or GAF QuickMeasure reports, or from the pitch, square count and line lengths you measured on site. A measurement report also makes the job eligible for rush turnaround.
Can you include steep and high charges, waste and code items?
Yes. I apply steep and high charges, appropriate waste factors, and code-required items such as drip edge or ice and water shield when they fit the roof, your local code and the photos you provide.
Do you write siding, gutters and interior leak damage too?
Yes. The Roof Plus Exterior and Full Storm Claim packages cover siding, fascia, soffit, gutters, downspouts, window wraps and interior ceiling or drywall damage caused by the leak.
Can you supplement an adjuster's roof estimate?
Yes. Send the carrier estimate, your photos and measurements, and I will identify missed or underpaid items and prepare the supplement lines with supporting notes.
Which price list and overhead and profit settings do you use?
The Xactimate price list for the property ZIP code and the month you choose, usually the date of loss. Overhead and profit, tax and depreciation are applied exactly the way you instruct.
How fast can I get my roof estimate?
Single-structure roofs with a measurement report and photos are typically completed in about 3 hours during my working hours. Multi-structure roofs or claims with siding and interior damage take 1 to 3 days depending on the package.
What files do I receive?
A PDF estimate ready to send to the carrier or client, plus the native Xactimate ESX file and the roof sketch.
Will the insurance company approve the full amount?
Approval is the carrier's decision, so no one can guarantee it. I write complete, well-supported estimates with proper line items, photo references and notes so your claim is presented as strongly as possible.
