About this gig
Some products sell on what's inside: the drivers in a speaker, the battery in a device, the parts of a machine. An exploded view lets your customers pull the product apart in their browser, turn it around and tap any part to see what it does. I build these with three.js, so they run on phones and laptops with nothing to install.
What I can build:
- An exploded view that opens with one click or a slider
- Labels that follow each part as the model turns
- Tap a part to highlight it and show its details
- A scroll-driven explode on your product page, with GSAP
- Embeds for Shopify, WordPress, Webflow or a custom site
- Model splitting, cleanup and compression, so it stays fast
It works well for electronics, hardware startups, tools, machines and furniture. If you have CAD or 3D files (STEP, GLB, FBX, OBJ or Blender), I'll get them web ready.

FAQ
I only have CAD files from our engineers. Can you use them?
Yes. STEP, IGES or STL files work. I convert them, cut the detail down for the web and keep each part separate so it can move. Hidden screws and tiny parts can be left out to keep it fast.
My 3D model is one solid piece. Is that a problem?
Not always. I can split a model into parts in Blender. If the inside isn't modelled, I can build simple inner parts from your specs. I'll tell you what's possible before you order.
Will it work on phones?
Yes. On small screens the labels move into a card under the model, and the camera pulls back so every part fits. I test on a normal phone, not only a fast laptop.
Can I use it in ads or videos too?
Yes. With the video export extra, I record the exploded view as a short HD video you can use in ads, social posts or on your product page.
How is this different from your configurator gig?
The configurator lets customers change colours and options before they buy. This one shows what's inside your product and how it's built.
