What does the AWS security audit cover?
The audit can cover IAM permissions, VPC configuration, Security Groups, public exposure, ELB, Route 53, DNS, backups, logging, cloud architecture, performance, and production-readiness risks.
What access will you need?
Read-only AWS access is preferred wherever possible. Depending on the scope, I may also need architecture diagrams, deployment details, configuration files, or a walkthrough of the environment.
Will you make changes to my AWS account?
The Basic package is audit-only. Standard and Premium may include agreed configuration fixes and security hardening within their included engineering hours. No changes are made without your approval.
What will I receive after the audit?
You will receive prioritized findings with severity levels, supporting evidence, recommended fixes, architecture observations, and an actionable remediation roadmap.
Does this include application code security?
This Gig primarily covers AWS cloud infrastructure and configuration. Application code, authentication logic, APIs, and database-level security can be reviewed through a separately agreed application-security scope.
Is this a penetration test or compliance certification?
No. This is an AWS cloud security and architecture audit. It does not automatically include a formal penetration test, SOC 2 certification, ISO certification, or compliance attestation.
Can you fix every issue found during the audit?
Standard and Premium include limited engineering hours for agreed fixes. Larger migrations, redesigns, or remediation projects will be quoted separately after the audit.
Is my AWS information kept confidential?
Yes. Infrastructure details, credentials, configurations, and findings are treated as confidential. Temporary, read-only, and revocable access should be used whenever possible.
