I will teach you ableton live
About this Gig
So you started using Ableton Live
You feel overwhelmed...
- Live looks like a space ship...
- The music you make sounds amateur...
- Or sometimes you even hate hearing your own music that you just spent hours making...
All of these things are natural when using complex software to make art.
Sometimes all it takes is a leading hand that guides you through those hardships.
That's where I can help you!
I taught myself everything, from basic music production and audio theory to rabbit holes like spectral / FFT sound design...
So I know exactly how frustrating it is to learn everything from scratch, and I want to share my knowledge about where to start, what to learn and more!
Depending on your skill level, we will:
- Learn the basics of Ableton Live (mainly Arrangement View)
- Use effects such as compressors, EQs and reverbs
- Write your own chord and melody progressions
- Program / sample drums (depending on which genre you want to learn)
- Make a track together
- Uncover "secret" sound design techniques
- Learn mixing techniques
- uncover some of my favourite free plugins
and more...

FAQ
What version of Ableton Live do i need?
I use Live 12 Suite, but it doesnt matter which version you own. If you own a way older version like Live 8 for example, there might be some stock effects / instruments that dont support this version but this should not be a huge problem!
Do i need to prepare anything?
It would be helpful to send me reference music that inspires you or message me what genre you would like to make. Of course a copy of Ableton Live is necessary!
