FAQ
What’s the difference between a 404 error and a broken link?
A broken link is any link that leads to a missing page. A 404 error is what the visitor sees when they arrive there. I fix both: I repair the link or redirect it to the right page.
Will fixing these help my Google rankings?
Fixing 404s and redirects removes crawl errors and keeps link value flowing to live pages, which supports SEO. I can’t promise specific rankings, since Google decides those.
How do you find the broken links?
I scan your whole store with professional crawling tools and check your Google Search Console data if you share it. You get a list of everything found and fixed.
Will fixing links change my store design?
No. I back up your theme first and only change links, redirects, and the code causing the errors.
Do you need access to my store?
Yes. I’ll request staff access in Shopify (Settings → Users and permissions). It’s safe and you can remove it anytime. I never need your owner password.
