I will write questions for your trivia contest
About this Gig
My trivia pedigree is perfect for your next trivia night or contest:
- I have played every edition of You Don't Know Jack to its conclusion, including the Tiger electronic tabletop game and the books.
- I am the subject of Easter eggs in three separate Jackbox games.
- I am currently Rundle A in LearnedLeague and participated in the 2026 LearnedLeague Championship.
- I have had auditions for Jeopardy, ESPN Jeopardy, Sports Jeopardy, The Chase and Who Wants to be a Millionaire.
- I can hold my own at local trivia nights singlehandedly against teams of up to six players and have even won several contests this way.
Needless to say, I am a bottomless pit of useless information. But maybe it does have some use! Let me put this sponge of a brain to work for you!

FAQ
Which game should I choose?
Basic and theme games are ideal for bars, restaurants and other social venues looking to add trivia nights or change it up with their current trivia format. Tailor-made is for organizers looking for questions that adhere to the format they currently use.
How are the questions formatted?
Tailor-made is written in a specific format you provide. Otherwise, questions are open response, with some questions requiring more than one answer. Each correct answer is worth one point, there is no wagering, and there are no penalties for wrong answers.
How does the basic game work?
The basic game is four rounds of seven questions each, and each round has its own unique category. But it's not your run-of-the-mill categories like Geography, History, or Sports. Let's see what you know about Eponymous Rules & Laws, O-L-D People, and Political Football.
How does the theme game work?
The theme game works exactly like the basic game, but is more narrowly tailored to the theme of your choice. For example, if someone from Durham, N.C. hired me to write a quiz about their hometown, I could narrow the subjects to Duke basketball, the movie Bull Durham, etc.
Will I be the only one who gets the questions you write for me?
Not necessarily. I reserve the right to add those questions to my database for future or returning clients.
What languages can you write questions in?
English only, but questions may include or be about terms and quotes in other languages, such as "agricola est bonus" or "ç'est le plume de ma tante" (this is an extremely niche joke that I really only wrote for myself).
Are there audio, video or picture rounds?
Yes for the tailor-made option, no otherwise.
Are there any "bonus rounds" or special questions?
There are occasional wrinkles that can come up naturally or by request, such as the "JUMBO ROUND," in which all questions have more than one correct answer, and the "Mystery Guest Game," in which the categories all have something in common and there's a bonus for those who identify it.
