What types of RC airplanes can you design — warbirds, gliders, trainers?
I design across the full RC airplane spectrum: WWII warbirds (Spitfires, Mustangs, Corsairs), scale jet trainers, sport planes, thermal gliders, slope soarers, foam replacement airframes, biplanes, and fully custom original designs. If it has wings and flies on radio control, I can design it for 3D
Will the 3D printed RC airplane be segmented to fit on a standard printer bed?
Yes. every airframe is intelligently segmented for 220x220mm or 300x300mm print beds by default. Fuselage halves, wing panels, and tail surfaces are designed with alignment pins or butt joints that glue cleanly. I can segment for any bed size you specify.
Do your RC airplane STL files include servo mounts and control surface hinges?
Yes. All Standard and Premium designs include standard servo pocket cutouts (9g and 20g servo sizes), push rod exit channels, and control surface hinge geometry, either printed living hinges or slots for CA-compatible film hinges, depending on your preference.
Can you design a wing with a specific airfoil — Clark Y, NACA, or custom?
Absolutely. Specify your preferred airfoil and wingspan and I'll build the wing ribs and skin geometry around that profile. I can also select an appropriate airfoil for your speed range and flying style if you'd prefer a recommendation.
Can you design a 3D printed replacement for a foam ARF or RTF plane?
Yes — this is one of the most popular requests on this gig. Send me photos and dimensions of your foam plane and I'll reverse-engineer a printable version that retains the original's flight characteristics while being far more durable and repairable.
What scale and wingspan range do you design for?
I design RC airplanes from 600mm micro builds up to 2000mm wingspan large-scale builds. Any scale is achievable — just specify your target wingspan and I'll engineer the structure accordingly. Larger builds include spar tube integration points for added strength.
