Developmental edits (in case this is the first time you are seeking an editor for poetry) mean comments on each poem's overall structure, content, and coherence. It goes beyond surface-level corrections and addresses fundamental aspects of a written work to enhance readability, storytelling (in the case of a poem, think: theme/metaphor execution), and effectiveness.

Developmental edits for poetry include a full paragraph of feedback (usually more) for every poem. I aim to give you perspective on voice, tone, and lyricism that may be hard for you, the writer, to see on your own.
