Optimize your Google SEO and fix favicon for Google AI Overviews
Did you know that a broken or missing website favicon can ruin your click-through rate on Google? With Google's latest search layouts and AI Overviews, your brands favicon is displayed prominently next to your website link in search results. If it looks low-quality or doesn't show up, searchers will skip past your site.

What I Will Do For You:
- Create a modern, high-resolution favicon matching your brand identity
- Configure favicon code multi-sizes (16x16, 32x32, Apple touch icons) for cross-browser clarity
- Setup and verify your website on Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools
- Generate and submit XML sitemaps to accelerate Google indexing
- Fix URL indexing errors, broken links, and metadata issues
- Optimize schema markup so your favicon and business details populate on Google AI Snippets.

FAQ
Why does my favicon show on my browser tab but not on Google search results?
Google uses a specific bot called "Favicon crawler" to index your site's icon. If your favicon code isn't formatted to Google's strict guidelines or if your root directory is blocking the crawler, Google will display a generic globe icon instead. I will fix your code structures so Google displays it
How long does it take for Google to update my favicon and index my pages?
After I correct the files and manually request a recrawl via Google Search Console, it typically takes Google anywhere from a few days to two weeks to refresh its search cache and display your new icon.
Do I need to provide the icon design, or will you create it?
If you have an existing logo, I can convert it into the perfect favicon sizes. If you don't have one, select the Premium Package, and I will custom-design a clean, professional, high-visibility favicon for your brand.
