FAQ
Q: What is the difference between developmental editing and line editing?
Developmental editing focuses on the big picture, such as plot holes, character arcs, pacing, and overall structure. Line editing focuses on sentence structure, word choice, and flow. I provide comprehensive book editing that ensures your narrative is strong, engaging, and ready for publishing.
Q: Do you edit both fiction and nonfiction books?
es! I provide professional developmental editing across a wide range of genres. For fiction, I edit sci-fi, romance, fantasy, thrillers, and more. For nonfiction, I specialize in self-help, memoirs, and business books.
Q: What files do I need to send to start the book editing process?
Please provide your manuscript as a Microsoft Word document (.doc or .docx). This allows me to use the Track Changes feature, so you can easily review, accept, or reject every single suggestion and developmental edit I make.
Q: Do you accept custom orders for larger word counts?
Absolutely! If your fiction or nonfiction book exceeds the word limits listed in my packages, please send me a message. I will gladly create a custom offer tailored to your exact word count and timeline.
