Welcome! I'm Sarah. I’m a classically trained pianist and online piano teacher. I earned my BA in Music in 2019 and have over 10 years of teaching experience. Whether you’re looking to begin a new hobby, brush off the cobwebs, or perform at a professional level, I’ve got you covered. I teach almost any genre including classical, jazz, blues, rock, pop and contemporary. ALL ages, levels and music backgrounds are welcome. FAQ
What do I need for virtual piano lessons?
It is quite simple! You will need a piano or keyboard available to you, a device with a camera with mic ability and a quiet space to be able to concentrate during the lesson. Keyboard and phone, computer or tablet work great.
Why should I take weekly piano lessons?
Having a piano lesson once a week is preferable because it gives the student enough time to practice in between lessons while the information is retainable. The more you practice, the quicker you can accomplish your musical goals!
Can I take piano lessons without any music background?
Of course! I teach any level from learning from scratch to advanced musicians.
I am shopping around for the right teacher. Is it okay to just book a trial lesson?
Absolutely! Finding the right match is very important for both teacher and student. I understand you may need to shop around before you make the choice to continue learning with me. Feel free to book the 15-minute trial lesson to see if we are a good fit.
Can I cancel my lesson?
Please note that a 24-hour cancellation policy is in effect. If you need to cancel your order, please notify me at least 24 hours prior to our agreed scheduled class time. Thanks!
