I will analyze crash data and identify road safety black spots

About this gig
I analyze road crash data to identify trends, severity patterns and locations requiring further road safety investigation.
I am a Transport and Traffic Engineer with 20+ years of experience in road safety, traffic data analysis and technical reporting. I am also a licensed Road Safety Auditor and Inspector.
PACKAGES
BASIC ($125): Up to 1,000 unique crashes; statistics, severity analysis, basic QA and 2 charts.
STANDARD ($275): Up to 5,000 unique crashes; preliminary GIS black spot screening, QA, 5 charts and executive summary.
PREMIUM ($550): Up to 15,000 unique crashes; advanced GIS screening, QA, 8 charts and technical report.
DATA REQUIREMENTS
Provide structured Excel/CSV data with crash IDs, dates, severity and reliable location information. GIS screening requires usable coordinates or road references.
The limits refer to unique crashes in structured datasets. Screening and ranking methods depend on data quality and available traffic exposure information.
Manual geocoding, complex database reconstruction, field inspections, crash reconstruction and formal RSA/RSI procedures are excluded.
Please contact me before ordering to confirm geographic scope and deliverables.

FAQ
What crash data do I need to provide?
Please provide your crash dataset in Excel or CSV format, including crash IDs, dates, severity and location information. Additional fields such as crash type, road conditions, vehicles involved and traffic volumes can improve the analysis. GIS files are welcome where available.
Can you identify black spots without GPS coordinates?
GIS screening requires reliable location information. Coordinates are preferred, but accurate road section identifiers or chainage references may also be suitable when corresponding network data are available. Without reliable locations, the analysis may be limited to non-spatial statistics.
Is this an official Road Safety Audit or Inspection?
No. This service provides desktop-based crash data analysis and preliminary road safety screening. It does not include formal Road Safety Audits (RSA), Road Safety Inspections (RSI), field visits or officially certified black spot designation.
How are potential black spots identified?
Depending on the available data, screening may use crash frequency, severity-weighted indicators, spatial concentration and traffic exposure measures. The methodology will be agreed before work begins. Locations identified through preliminary screening require further engineering investigation.
Can you analyze larger datasets or complex road networks?
Yes. Please contact me before ordering if your project exceeds the package limits, involves multiple linked databases, requires manual geocoding or covers a large road network. I can review the scope and prepare a custom offer based on complexity and expected deliverables.
