I had been a research fellow & lecturer, teaching lighting science & daylight at the University of Wismar, where I was also involved in research into public lighting - looking at improving the quality of public lighting to achieve environmental, economic & social sustainability. Previously I worked as a daylight design specialist & lighting designer in Berlin, Germany. I completed my Ph.D. on the subject of Daylight in retail places from the University of Stuttgart.
