FAQ
What do I need to send to start the review?
I need your native CAD files (Altium/KiCad) or a full ODB++/Gerber package. Please also include the schematic (PDF) and the intended layer stackup from your manufacturer.
Can you fix the errors you find?
i provide PDF report for you to fix the issues. If you want me to implement the fixes directly in your CAD file, contact me.
Do you check for EMI/EMC compliance?
Yes. I identify potential radiation loops, shielding gaps, and poor grounding that typically cause failures in the test lab. However, I cannot guarantee a pass without physical lab testing.
Will you check my component footprints?
Yes. I manually verify critical footprints against manufacturer datasheets to ensure the pins, pitch, and pads match the actual physical component.
Why do I need a human review if I have DRC?
Automated Design Rule Checks (DRC) only catch "hard" errors like shorts. They don't catch "soft" errors like poor signal integrity, bad thermal management, or components that are impossible to solder.
