Send one PDF. I return a tagged accessible version and a written report of what was checked.


What I do:

  • Tag structure: headings, lists, paragraphs
  • - Logical reading order
  • - Table header cells marked
  • - Alt text for figures, drafted from captions and nearby text
  • - Bookmarks, document title and language
  • - A veraPDF PDF/UA-1 validation report, plus a list of anything still open

Untagged or scanned files are rebuilt as a new tagged edition. Page count can change, so you also get a page crosswalk.


Pricing is about $2 per page with a $150 minimum. Over 300 pages: message me for a custom offer ($1.50 per page above 500).


Limits: figures without enough context for alt text are flagged for you to describe. Whether your document meets Section 508 or any other standard is your determination; the report shows what was tested.


AI-assisted: I use AI tools (which may include cloud AI services) to speed up extraction, drafting and checking. The work is made for your files, checked against your source, and I am responsible for what I deliver.
