About this gig
Confluence Data Center ends in March 2029 and Atlassian already stopped selling it to new customers. Every custom P2 plugin has to be rebuilt as a Forge app or retired. I have done both sides.
What I build:
- Data Center plugins in Java: blueprints with wizards, macros, Active Objects, REST endpoints, listeners, scheduled jobs, mail notifications, Comala Workflows and Scroll Office/PDF integrations, LDAP, Oracle/Postgres
- Forge apps for Confluence Cloud: UI Kit or Custom UI (React), Forge storage, REST calls, triggers
- Migrations: I read your existing Java plugin, map what it does and rebuild it on Forge with a written gap list
Track record: the official-correspondence system of Itaipu Binacional on Confluence Data Center (4 blueprints, Comala workflows, Word/PDF export, Oracle, 9k lines of Java, 38k in total), in production since 2023.

Which Confluence versions?
Data Center 7.x-9.x (Java, P2) and Cloud (Forge). Connect apps only for migration to Forge.
Can you work on an existing plugin written by someone else?
Yes, that is most of the work; send me the repo or the jar and I quote after reading it.
Do you need access to our Confluence?
Not necessarily; I develop against my own DC and Cloud test sites and deliver installable packages. Access to a staging site speeds things up.
