About this gig
Are Meta, GA4 or TikTok tags firing before visitors accept cookies? Or did conversions drop after adding a cookie popup? Both problems start with a proper diagnosis.
How I work:
1. Analysis: I review what your store loads before and after the visitor's choice: pixels, GA4, Google Ads, app scripts and cookies. I check how the banner feeds Shopify's Customer Privacy API and whether Meta and TikTok server events respect it too, since Consent Mode v2 only covers Google.
2. Recommendation: Based on that, you get a written strategy covering which tag belongs in which category, the right Consent Mode v2 settings, and what needs to change.
3. Implementation: I apply the recommendation in your store and verify every tracking event again afterwards.

Is this legal advice?
No. I'm not a lawyer. I analyze and configure how your store handles consent technically. Which rules apply to your business and what your privacy policy says should come from your legal counsel.
Is this a full tracking setup?
No. I check and fix how your existing tags behave before and after consent. Setting up new tracking, new conversion events or server-side tracking from scratch is a separate job and can be quoted on request.
What does the analysis look at?
What loads before and after the visitor's choice: pixels, GA4, Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, app scripts and cookies. I also check Consent Mode v2 signals and whether Meta and TikTok server events respect the visitor's choice.
Which package should I choose?
Basic if you want a clear diagnosis your team can apply. Standard if I should apply it for one region. Premium if you sell to both EU and US visitors or run many apps and pixels. Message me and I'll tell you.
Which consent apps do you work with?
Shopify's native cookie banner, Pandectes, Consentmo, Cookiebot and similar apps. If you don't have one yet, my recommendation will say which option fits your store and markets, and you see the cost before anything is installed.
Can you fix tracking that stopped after adding a banner?
Yes, that's one of the most common cases. Usually tags are blocked completely instead of waiting for consent, or Consent Mode signals are missing. The analysis shows which one it is.
What is Consent Mode v2 and do I need it?
It's how Google Ads and GA4 receive the visitor's consent choice. If you run Google Ads to visitors in the EEA or UK, you need it for remarketing audiences and conversion modeling to keep working.
Will this affect my live store?
Not until you approve it. I test changes on a preview theme on desktop and mobile first, and nothing goes live before you've seen it working.
What do you need to get started?
Your store URL, collaborator access, access to Google Tag Manager or GA4 and Meta Events Manager if you use them, and the countries you sell to.
How do you prove it works?
I compare what fires before and after consent with browser tools and Tag Assistant, check Shopify's customer events, and confirm test conversions arrive in GA4 and Meta. You get before and after evidence in writing.
