Q: How soon will you respond to messages?
A: I’m based in Aotearoa/New Zealand (NZT), so there may be a time zone delay, but I check my messages first thing in the morning and will respond.
Can I trust you with my manuscript?
Yes, I will message an NDA (non-disclosure agreement) for both you and I to agree that your intellectual property and private details must be kept confidential. This keeps things on the platform, monitored by Fiverr, and keeps everyone safe.
What software do you use for formatting?
I use Microsoft Word 365. My customers enjoy receiving their source files in word so they can make small edits (e.g. typos - it happens!) after they've published their book. If you have access to Word, you will be able to edit the file.
What files will I get?
You will get two files: 1) a print ready PDF that I test for compliancy with KDP; 2) an editable source file version of the PDF for you to upload to KDP.
Will I be able to edit the book text after you've formatted?
If you have Microsoft Word, then yes you can edit your book. As long as the edit is tiny e.g. a typo, then the formatting should stay intact.
How many revision rounds can i have?
Revision rounds are unlimited, but please remember that your revision requests should be related to the design only.
What if I have a revision after you've formatted it?
If you have Microsoft word, and the revision is small e.g. a typo, then you can revise it yourself with no issues. But if the revision is large e.g. several lines or a paragraph then that might disrupt the formatting. Message me to discuss further.
