FAQ
Is MBE the same as SBA certification?
No. MBE is issued by NMSDC or state and local agencies, not the SBA. 8(a), WOSB, HUBZone, VOSB and SDVOSB are SBA programs. Tell me your goal and I’ll prepare the right package.
Which certification does my business qualify for?
It depends on ownership and location. 8(a) is for socially and economically disadvantaged owners, WOSB for women-owned, HUBZone for businesses in qualifying areas, VOSB/SDVOSB for veterans. Order the Basic package and I’ll confirm your fit.
Do I need SAM.gov first, and are there government fees?
Most federal certifications require an active SAM.gov registration, and I can help with that. SBA certifications and SAM.gov. MBE through NMSDC or local agencies may charge fees. You review and submit, since the owner must attest.
