I will audit and harden the security of your linux or windows server
Linux and Windows Server Specialist, DevOps and Automation
About this Gig
Is your server really secure? Many servers have open ports, weak SSH settings, old software or default configurations that attackers scan for every day.
I am a systems administration student (ASIR) focused on security. I will check your server the way an attacker would look at it from outside, and the way an admin checks it from inside, then give you a clear report in plain English.
What I check:
- Open ports and exposed services (Nmap)
- SSH, firewall, users, sudo and password policy
- Outdated packages and insecure TLS settings
- Linux hardening with Lynis and CIS recommendations
- Windows Server: firewall, updates, local admins, RDP, password and lockout policy
- Active Directory: privileged groups, inactive and never-expiring accounts, GPOs and share permissions
What you get:
- PDF report with risks sorted by priority (High, Medium, Low)
- Step by step fixes for each issue
- Premium: I apply the fixes and confirm them with a new scan
I only work on systems you own or are authorized to test. Please message me before ordering.

FAQ
Is this a penetration test?
No. It is a security audit and hardening service: I find misconfigurations and fix them. I do not attack or exploit systems, and I only work on servers you own or manage.
Will the audit break my server?
No. The scans are read-only. In the Premium package I only apply changes after you approve them, and I check that your services still work.
What access do you need?
For Basic, only the IP or domain. For Standard and Premium, a temporary user with sudo (Linux) or a local admin account (Windows), which you remove after delivery. Never send your main password.
Do you also check Active Directory?
Yes. I review Domain Admins and other privileged groups, old or inactive accounts, passwords that never expire, Group Policies and shared folder permissions. You get the results in the same PDF report.
