We can convert your SRT (UTF-8 encoding) subtitles to DCI compatible SMPTE XML format. Output is a SMPTE 428-7 D-Cinema Distribution Master Subtitle SMPTE compliant subtitles are based on the specification SMPTE ST 428-7:2014 DCDM Subtitle specification published by the SMPTE. The default file extension is .xml.


XML is a standard established by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), which is the central standards body of the web. The DLP Cinema subtitle XML format, as part of the CineCanvas technology, follows the 1.0 version of the standard, and can be found at https://www.w3.org/TR/2000/REC-xml-20001006.pdf
