Convert video, audio and subtitles into DCP: the standard format required by cinemas across the world
Your movie or commercial is finished and now you need to show it in the movie theaters. We are here to help you take the final step on your path to becoming a viewer. With thousands of DCPs created, we convert your movie or commercial to full film standards so it can be shown in theaters. We are creating SMPTE ST 429-7:2006, ST 429-2:2020 compliant DCPs or J2K InterOp DCPs and make either 2k or 4k content ready for the distribution to a digital movie theater.

What resolution must be source of video
For 2K DCP: 1.78:1 - 1920 x 1080 pix FLAT 1.85:1 - 1998 x 1080 pix SCOPE SCOPE 2.39:1 - 2048 x 858 pix For 4K DCP: 1.78:1 - 3840 x 2160 pix FLAT 1.85:1 - 3996 x 2160 pix SCOPE SCOPE 2.39:1 - 4086 x 1716 pix
Which video frame rate (fps) to choose?
24fps (preferred) or 25 fps If your source video was originally made for TV (25 fps), one frame per second will have to be deleted in order to convert the footage to 24 frames per second. Unfortunately, removing frame will result in a noticeably jerky motion.
When are Title Safe zones necessary?
If 2K (1998 x 1080) image source cinema title safety area: 1798 x 972 pix If HD (1920 x 1080) image source cinema title safety area: 1605 x 903 pix
Technical specs for source audio
STEREO 2.0 MIX or FULL 5.1 MIX preferably 8 discrete channels. Audio may be supplied embedded into the file if delivering QuickTime video sources. If 5.1 MIX, please provide the separate mono stems: CH1 = L, CH2 = R, CH3 = C, CH4 = LFE, CH5 = Ls, CH6 = Rs, CH7 = LT, CH8 = RT
Source Files Naming
File names must start with a letter, and can contain letters, digits, or underscores and cannot contain following characters \ / : * ? ” < > and spaces. Please upload the sequence in a folder named with requested information as follows: Product-Title_Length_Fps_ColourPrimaries_Range_Format
