WHAT YOU GET
A register of every claim with one verdict (confirmed, partly supported, unsettled or unsupported), the source, and its reliability grade. A contested-claims section where sources disagree, with both sides and what would settle it. Corrected wording for every claim that fails.
WHAT I CHECK
Statistics, dates, quotations, named organisations, laws and institutions, and historical and political claims. I also flag circular sourcing: three articles that all trace back to one press release count as one source, not three.
HOW I WORK
Primary sources first. Secondary sources are used to find primary ones, not to replace them. I read English and French directly; other languages through checked translation, marked as such.

Do you edit or rewrite text?
No, this gig verifies rather than edits. I supply a suggested correction for each failed claim so you can make the change in your own voice.
What if a claim cannot be verified either way?
I mark it unverified and explain what evidence would be needed to settle it. This is a finding, not a failure, and it is often the most useful line in the report.
Do you check opinions?
No, only assertion of fact. I will flag an opinion presented as fact.
Can you check content in other languages?
I verify English content only.
Will you sign an NDA (Non-disclosure Agreement)?
Yes, sent it with your order. Unpublished drafts are treated as confidential regardless.
Can you tell me if this as written by AI?
No. Detention tools misfire too often to put a name to. I check whether the claims are true, which is what matters.
What kinds of documents do you check?
Reports, articles, white papers, newsletters, books and other non-fiction.
How do I know how many claims my document has?
Send it before ordering. I count the claims and confirm the package and delivery time.
Do you research private individuals?
No. I research organisations, public figures acting in a public role, published claims and public records only.
Can you guarantee a particular answer?
No. I report what the public record shows. Where the record is unclear or stops, the report says so.
