This depends on how specific of a sample you need, and how long the survey is. I will need to discuss this with you before I can give you an accurate number.
How long will data collection take?
I have had many projects only take a day, but if compensation for the responses is poor, it can take much longer.
How long can my survey be?
I do not believe there is a set maximum, but longer surveys require more compensation for responses. Additionally, after about 12 or 15 minutes, your respondents will begin to be fatigued and response quality will drop off.
How specific of an audience can I target?
Prolific has many built-in screener questions that respondents have completed. Please check their website for these. Additionally, custom screener questions can be used, but this requires two rounds of surveys to accomplish, and those who do not qualify for the survey will need to be compensated.
