Copyediting - $10 per $1,000 words
- For grammar, punctuation, spelling, and overall clarity. I also ensure accuracy of facts and consistency of timelines, character names and plot details.
Line Editing - $20 per $1,000 words
- Includes copyediting. I also edit for syntax, sentence structure, pacing, narrative flow, tense, and scene transitions.
Heavy line editing - $35 per $1,000 words
- For more challenging texts. In addition to the line editing described above, this package includes rewrites.

FAQ
Do you offer free samples before placing an order?
I would recommend a sample edit. Sample edits allow us to see if we're a good fit. Please, contact me before ordering and I will offer a sample edit free of charge.
What is the delivery time for projects longer than 1,000 words?
Delivery time is subjective for each project. My delivery estimates are: five days for 5,000 words, 10 days for up to 25,000 words, and three weeks for up to 50,000 words. I do accept longer texts and I will give you a delivery estimate before you place an order.
Do you offer developmental editing?
I will include developmental notes if I catch something during a line edit or copyedit. I do not currently offer a developmental editing package.
What file formats do you use?
I edit using the Track Changes feature in Microsoft Word which with .docx format. I may send ancillary files in .pdf format.
Will you edit AI-generated work?
No, I do not work on material that has been generated by AI.
